The one shown on the picture beneath has been lightened of 1.5 kg and polished. For further lightening, nitruration, which is a treatment to harden its surface, is recommended.
On the last picture you can see a crankshaft that has been milled out of a full block on abarth spec. It is recommended for power levels above 400 hp.

Quello in foto è stato alleggerito di 1,5 kg e lucidato. Per maggiori alleggerimenti è poi consigliata la nitrurazione che è un trattamento per indurire l'albero e renderlo più resistente.
Nell'ultima foto si vede un albero in acciaio ricavato dal pieno su disegno abarth. Se ne consiglia l'utilizzo per preparazioni molto spinte oltre i 400cv.
